PiccoliProduction was founded 2007 in Zürich by Simone Blaser and Bruno Catalano. Both graduated their studies in choreography and dance at the Hoogeschool voor de Kunste Arnhem. In their early pieces, PiccoliProduction drew their inspiration from interpersonal encounters and the friction and bewilderment that spring from such incidents. It was human’s inconsistencies, which formed the source of creation of an imaginary cosmos that opens up space and time for the audience to unfold their own imagination. Over time their work grew more performative in content and form. Their current works deal with the phenomena of trivialisation of reality and the role the entertainment business plays in society and politics. In 2019 Bruno Catalano took over the sole artistic direction. He is assisted by Daniel Riniker as production manager and dramaturg. 

 Since many years the company is  collaborating with Peter Göhler, Stefanie Herzberg, Melina Seldes, Rakesh Sukesh and others more.
